People love to give through the collecting box. It’s been around for ever and is probably here to stay.

But now, I use my switch card for the smallest of purchases, so why not a one off donation in the street?

Perhaps one day we will have the collecting tin with a swipe machine down the side and keypad to enter your PIN number. It would certainly make you take note of which charity you were giving to!
