We have all seen how popular sites such as Wikipedia, Myspace and Youtube (as well as many, many others) have become and there is no reason whatsoever why you shouldn’t have a presence on all these sites.

Use a Wikipedia entry to give a brief history of your organisation and list of your current campaigns. Put links to your website on other pages on the site (for instance, a link to Marie Curie Cancer Care on pages about cancer, or a link to Handicap International UK on pages about landmines). It is simply a matter of developing the text for a page, formatting it, placing the links on other pages, and then regularly checking the site to ensure that any modifications made by other users are accurate.
