I wonder what would happen if an organisation dared to take ten per cent of its donor acquisition budget and ring-fence it to provide outstanding donor care for them.
So you recruit less, but look after them better.
Would you get more money in the end? Would they stay longer with you? Would it be brilliant or completely stupid?
Will we ever find out?
